Ram Chatlani

R

am Chatlani has studied mysticism and movement since a young age. He began practice of yoga asana at 8 and meditation at 14. Nei gung ["internal work"] is an essential component of his teaching method and personal practice, a synthesis of more than 30 years of consistent work. During that period he has had the good fortune to study and work with meditation masters, champion martial artists and energy masters from 3 continents with discernible result, made accessible through his clarity, mindfulness and insight.

The meditation training offered is a rare synthesis of yogic, Buddhist and Taoist traditions. The emphasis in this training is to establish the fundamental elements of soft breath control for the purposes of developing increased concentration, good health and longevity. The programme is designed to build gently and incrementally the necessary skills to achieve deep peace & release and ultimately profound awareness of the higher self and the cosmic order. Ram learnt meditation from the Brahma Kumari Dadi Janki; Taoist longevity breathing with Master B.K. Frantzis and studied Buddhist meditation with, among others, Khyongla Rinpoche as well as having studied Mouni Sadhu’s yogic methods of pranyama and concentration. In 1999 he began to study the method of healing meditation developed by the famous meditation teacher and healer Merta Ada in Bali with whose primary representative and student [Burgs] Ram has hosted and supported week long silent retreats.

Ram Chatlani is a poet, a mystic, a sage and a warrior of impeccable intent. He has a beautiful vision and a beautiful practice which really does produce miracles. Having worked with many great teachers from many different countries, I can tell you that Ram is among the greatest.

Ross Heaven, author of "The Journey to You" & "Spirit in the City" and other books, writing after his participation in the Jump into Being.

Ram has trained extensively in a variety of shamanic and energetic traditions in Europe, India, the Middle East and Mesoamerica. Much inspiration for the Jump into Being was through his work in Mexico with Victor Sanchez and Manolo Cetina, Toltec warriors and friends of the Wirrarika people, modern day survivors of the ancient Toltecs.

Ram has worked and studied Gurdjieff's teachings for over 20 years. He has led Fourth Way groups and has a profound understanding of how to apply oriental teachings to modern everyday life. It is this that makes his approach to wisdom and being appropriate and essential. Deep absorption in the great traditions offers insight and Ram Chatlani's teachings share these insights with a view to application in daily life.
